In 1977 Laurel hopped a bus in Tijuana, Mexico and ended up on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
However, in a country between sand and jungle, where it rains for six months and is dry EQUALLY LONG, she could never find an adequate floor solution for the naturally beautiful challenges that beach/jungle living has to offer (doesn’t get moldy, and that is water, sand and dirt repellent).
And so it began. For the last 12 years, she’s created hundreds of hand-painted custom canvas rugs for local and international clients; her goal is to create delightful, BEAUTIFUL solutions THAT FACILITATE, “LA DOLCE VITA.”

Y así empezó. Durante los últimos 12 añoS ha creado cientos de alfombras de lIENZO, personalizadas Y pintadas a mano para clientes locales e internacionales. su objetivo es crear soluciones encantadoras QUE SEAN BELLAS Y QUE APOYEN “LA DOLCE VITA.”
